Susan's polymer clay work is showcased and sold at the
Alaskaland Bear Gallery Gift Shop. You can find Susan and her work
during the Holiday season at several Fairbanks craft fairs.
Her coiled basketry, quilting and textile pieces were
shown in juried art shows in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Porltand,
Oregon (the 1996 Convergence International show.) The Bear Gallery also
showed one of her coiled basket peices at the Interior Artisians show
in 1997.
As an artist, Susan connected with polymer clay in the
summer of 2000 at Dotty Calabrese's Convergence class in Cincinnati.
"I
create art because I enjoy the tactile experience of working with
polymer clay. I make beautiful items that brighten things up when
people look at them."
